Well that’s interesting

I’ve been noticing that when I mention anything about my plan to people, I really downplay things.

I say ‘I’m on a bit of a health kick right now’

This isn’t a conscious plan, but I’ve been saying the same thing to everyone. If they ask for more details I just say ‘I’m trying to sleep better and eat a little cleaner’ or something like that. I’m not sure if that’s because:

  1. I think people will think I’m crazy when I tell them the whole plan

  2. I’m scared to tell people the whole plan and mot follow though

  3. I think no one wants to heat the fat guy talk about how he’s ‘getting in shape’ again. Especially friends who’ve heard some version of that for the past however-many years.

It’s probably a bit of all three of those and some more. I just thought it was kinda interesting when I caught myself phrasing it that way again today.
